Summer is here!

Something happened on the way to spring this year. Old man winter decided he was not willing to leave and so we missed spring this year. I love spring and I was sad to miss it this year but I'm happy to announce that summer has arrived!! How do I know??? I have spent my first night in the basement while the siren's went off and a tornado touched down 10 minutes away from Brandon. I have my first huge misquote bite. Since I'm allergic to the little suckers they love me more and I welt up beyond belief. We have two new baby horses that I have been unable to get photo's of because Mom keeps getting between us or pushing the baby to the other side of the field. Maybe in a few weeks when things calm down I can get one. Then there is the training!!! Run, run and run. Four miles 5 x a wk 6 to 10 miles 1 x wk = training for the marathon in September!! I have to admit it is nice to be outside again :) But ~ don't forget the bug spray because they bite you no matter how fast you run!! Tom's tavern officially opens this weekend with a few new gadgets.

Next is the BIG Margarita machine! Should make serving a crowd much more fun.

Then we have the new baby keg machine. Of course this will not stop the beer of all brands ice chest from being full.

More proof of summer is sitting at the BOB (Chase to the newbies) and watching a ball game.

Last but not least there is the bug that has become my summer car. I'm still working on getting use to how small she is. She is as fun to drive as the Jeep! I have been looking all over for my plate holder from the Jeep that says Life is more fun with the top off. I think someone close me has tossed it ~ LOL
